As the Ohio leaves turned golden in the dying October sun of 2023 the mug illustrator of the Ohio Renaissance Festival was hard at work planning for 2024… Wow, we just had Déjà vu.
This is a big birthday for the Ohio Renaissance Festival, 35 years. If it were a wedding anniversary we’d be gettings the traditional gift of coral, if you ascribe to such things.
The Ohio Renaissance Festival mugs have always offered inspiration for that season, especially in the past few years when extra care has been taken to weave rich visual messages into the design.
This year is no different.
