Your Festival Day, In Your Pocket: Introducing the New ORF App

Nine weekends. Sixteen stages. More than a hundred performances a day, and map the size of a small village (because it is).

We built you something to keep it all straight.

The Ohio Renaissance Festival 2026 app! Free, no download from an app store, and no account to create. Open it in your phone’s browser, tap “Install” at the prompt, and it lives on your phone like any other app.

No wifi or signal needed!

Cell service on the grounds is, let us say, period-accurate. So the app downloads everything the first time you open it, the full schedule, the map, every event listing. And keeps it on your phone.

Out in the middle of the village with zero bars… the schedule still opens, the map still works. Nothing spins.

Find every show, then build your own day

The Schedule shows every performance on every stage on a scrollable timetable. Search a performer by name. Filter by music, comedy, combat, magic, dance, or family shows. Tap any show for details and get a link straight to that stage on the map.

Then hit Add to My Festival Day. The app lays your picks out in order, warns you when two overlap, and can remind you before one starts.

Attending more than once? Build a separate schedule per day.

When it’s right, share it via QR code so friends can pull your day onto their phones, or print it for the paper people.

A map that answers actual questions

Pinch, zoom, drag. Filter to stages, food, pubs, restrooms, ATMs, water, first aid, games and rides, or shops.

Search “bathroom” or “beer” and get easy-to-find locations.

Special events, themed weekends, what’s new

Ticketed extras (Jousting, Royal Feast, Spirit Tasting, Pub Crawl, Afternoon Tea, Rocky Horror), all nine themed weekends from Homecoming through Heroes and Villains, plus the 2026 additions: six new games, four new rides, and special guest Jacques ze Whipper.
