The scent of smoked turkey legs has drifted away. The booths are boarded up and the lanes are all clear. The gates are locked, but the village still bustles with activity. Behind the walls of the Ohio Renaissance Festival, a transformation is occurring. Lights are strung, trees are piled with decorations, and everyone is working hard as elves to get things ready for Yuletide Village 2025.
What is Yuletide Village?
Yuletide Village is a seasonal celebration starting the weekend after Thanksgiving (November 28th) and lasting every Fri/Sat till just before Christmas (December 20th). Joining in with other Ohio winter attractions like the Columbus Zoo: Wildlights and Kings Island: Winter Lights, Yuletide Village creates a whimsical environment where everything has been given a winter flair to celebrate the season with family and friends. Events and attractions change over to a more festive atmosphere; special visitors, holiday treats, and amazing shopping like you won’t find anywhere else.
Twinkly Lights

We all remember piling up in the car, stopping to get some hot cocoa, and driving through the neighborhoods where every house was lit up from ground to chimney in twinkling lights and decorations. In Yuletide Village many areas have their own themed display where you can walk among the decorations and find the perfect spot for your holiday postcard. Our personal favorites are the Front Gate, the Pirate Ship, and Santa’s Sleigh.
Yuletide Entertainment
Sing along with our wonderful shows like Wenches a’ Wassailing, listen to holiday stories with Mrs. Clause, catch our Brass Band in the lanes or take a Cookies and Coco walking tour. Want to take a load off your feet? Get a ticket for the Yuletide Express and enjoy a relaxing ride through the village. Snatch up one of our Rental Igloos and spend the evening in cozy comfort between shows. Or gather around one of the warming stations and make some new friends!
Santa and Krampus

You can’t have a holiday without the big guys to help! You can choose between the joyful bright, and merry time of year, or set your sights on frightening cold and feral traditions. Santa sets up his workshop in the Aleing Knight Pub or you can visit Mrs. Claus herself at The Three Fools Pub for stories and fun party games. Or you can visit Krampus in his domain near the Rose and Crown along with Vikings, the Rat King, and the Ghost of Christmas Future.
Treats, Eats, and Drinks
It just isn’t the holidays without plenty to eat and enjoy. Along with several hot chocolate stations and our soup elves, Yuletide Village sports a number of fantastic eateries stocked full of holiday goodies. Hit up the 1572 Roadhouse BBQ for perfectly cooked turkey, sweet potato casserole, and stuffing. Try out the Aleing Knight if you’d like some hot bourbon pecan pie, sticky toffee pudding, or a holiday chicken sandwich. The Bread Bowl will be open with t’s usual selection of delicious soups and stews, as well as the New World Knoll, Rose & Crown, and other selection places around the park.
Christmas Marketplace

Explore our open-air marketplace where over 50+ vendors and shops will be there selling one-of-a-kind artisan goods you can’t find anywhere else. Think cloaks should have never gone out of fashion? Take a look at Cloaked in Shadows, Lost Viking Hoard, or Romantically Bent to stay warm all winter long. Perhaps you need a little something for that office exchange. Grab some tea at Ash & Oak Apothecary, Harvest and Hearth for snow globes, or Sinclair Soaps, and put together a gift bag. There is something for everyone just waiting to be found.
